Who We Are

The Rev. Grant Mansfield
Pronouns: He/Him/His
Rector
Rev. Grant brings a lifetime of service to his role as Rector of St. George’s. The son of an ordained minister, he is passionate about being a tool for God’s justice in the world, and he possesses an urgent conviction for sharing the love of Christ with marginalized communities––especially LGBTQ+ groups. He’s also deeply committed to bringing people together to heal and reconcile the barriers created by racism and addressing the systemic repercussions of slavery. Before joining St. George’s, Rev. Grant served as Assistant Rector at St. Matthew’s in Sterling, Virginia, where he oversaw and innovated the Worship, Young Adult, and Outreach ministries. He attended Virginia Theological Seminary, where he graduated with his Masters in Divinity with a concentration in New Mission Practices in 2018. Before attending seminary, Rev. Grant attended Virginia Commonwealth University and graduated with two Bachelors of Arts degrees in History and Religious Studies, with concentrations in Judaic Studies and Gender, Sexuality, and Gender Studies, in 2014.

Megan Coiley
Pronouns: She/Her/Hers
Minister of Music | Conductor, Pianist/Organist, Mezzo-soprano
Megan Coiley enjoys a multi-faceted musical career. In addition to serving the community of St. George’s, Megan Coiley is active in the wider ecumenical community. She is a cantor and organist for area Roman Catholic churches, and she also serves as the Music Minister for Princeton Presbyterians, the Presbyterian campus ministry of Princeton University.
Megan is a graduate of Westminster Choir College, through which she has performed with the New York Philharmonic, the Philadelphia Orchestra, and other leading orchestras. As a collaborative pianist, she frequently plays with violinists and singers throughout New Jersey, and as a soloist, she is a specialist in the piano music of Shostakovich. She is presently on the piano faculty at The Allegra School of Music and Arts in Hillsborough, NJ, and her students are deeply weird and wonderful people.
When she is not making music, Megan enjoys making a myriad of other things, among which include craft cocktails, excellent coffee, jewelry, gluten-free and vegan food, and large messes. She resides in Ewing, NJ, with her fiancée and their cat, Regina Caeli.

Ruth Deane
Pronouns: She/Her/Hers
Parish Administrator
Ruth is our Parish Administrator. She has been at St. George’s since 2018. Originally from South Africa, Ruth now lives in Madison with her husband, 2 teenage sons and 2 dogs.

Wardens

Mike Martins
Senior Warden
Mike has served on the Vestry since 2015, elected as Warden in 2017 and re-elected in 2021. His current term ends in 2023.

Dan Mitchell
Junior Warden
Dan has served on the Vestry since 2015, and elected as Warden in 2020 His current term ends in 2022.
Vestry Members
Vestry members are elected at the church’s Annual Meeting. Each vestry member serves a three-year term and is eligible to serve two terms. At the conclusion of each vestry member’s term(s), the parish elects new vestry members who will lead St. George’s onward.
All active, regularly attending, and regularly giving parishioners are eligible to stand for election to the Vestry. All Vestry members are ministers for Stewardship and the finances of St. George’s.

Margo Hill
Margo was elected to the Vestry in 2018, and again in 2021 for a 3 year term. She is the vestry minister for the Outreach Committee, the Prison Ministry, First Friends and IHN.

Mark Graham
Mark was elected to the Vestry in 2020. He is the Property and Grounds vestry minister, taking care of the church and the rectory.

Tom Meyers-Normand
Tom was elected to the Vestry in 2020. His ministry focus is Communications. He is the vestry minister for the St. George’s website, social media, print news and banners.

Glen Hoffs
Glen was elected to the Vestry in 2021. His area of ministry is Community Evangelism.

Aleeda Crawley
Aleeda was elected to the Vestry in 2019. She is the Dscipleship minister. Her ministry covers Youth Group, Sunday school, Adult Education and forums and Women’s Ministry.

Sharon McSorley
Sharon was elected to the Vestry in 2017 and currently serving her second term. She is the Worship vestry minister.

Magaly Denis-Roman
Magaly was elected tot he Vestry in 2021. She is a vestry minister for Communication.

Dan Boylan
Dan was elected to the Vestry in 2021. His vestry ministry focus is Social Justice and Advocacy.

Mary Lou Mitchell
Mary Lou was elected to the Vestry in 2021. She is the Fun and Fellowship vestry minister.
Finance

Neil Marks
Treasurer
Neil Marks joined the Finance Committee in 2016 and became Chair in 2018. He is a portfolio manager and Registered Investment Adviser
Neil overseas all financial aspects for St. George’s Church together with the Finance Ministry members. They prepare budgets and prioritizes spending.
