Youth Service and Meeting

From September through April, the Senior Youth Group and the Dragons Middle School Youth Group meet at 5:00 p.m. on the fourth Sunday of month at the church for a short service, followed by a meeting, including dinner. For more information, contact any youth group Mentor (listed in the right hand column with each youth group).

The St. George's middle school youth group, a.k.a., the Dragons, invites all youth in grades 6-8 to take part in fun, excitement and service to our community.

Grades 9-12
Senior Youth Group

The Senior Youth Group is a ministry of St. George's Episcopal Church to the youth of the parish in grades 9 through 12. Our mission is to support them in living out their Baptismal covenant, and to increase their comfort level in coming to church and being able to talk about and with God. We strive to achieve this by "modeling church," by providing them with a safe place to seek, by helping them feel wanted and by helping them to make a contribution to the community of St. George's.

The Senior Youth Group meets monthly and activities include community outreach, fellowship and just plain fun. Some of our past events include movies, a dance, a trip to Six Flags Great Adventure and a Mission Trip to Mississippi.
